Toro y Moi sings on his new album, “James Murphy is spinning at my house.”
A lot has changed for Chaz Bundick in the last several years and the amount of clout that he carries nowadays. Instead of riding the “Chillwave” for as long as the ride held up, Bundick evolved into a different artist that has gone the way of autotune and is definitely on a disco kick.
“Outer Peace” is the name of his upcoming album scheduled for release via Carpark January 18. Get the jump on the full album stream via NPR that boasts collaborations with Wet and Instupendo. What’s weird is that the follow up to “Boo Boo” despite chalking up ten tracks in length, the east coast artist holds true to the adage of being brief, brilliant and gone in thirty minutes.
