New York duo, Overcoats, are set out to punctuate a huge 2017 with multiple exclamation marks. The Arts & Crafts’ artists start their US tour in Denver tomorrow night at Globe Hall in what is surely a night to be missed. Hana Elion and JJ Mitchell’s whirlwind year started with the release of their debut album, “Young,” this past April, multiple live dates supporting Joseph and a visit with NPR’s Tiny Desk series.
Elion and Mitchell collaborated in studio with Nicolas Vernhes (Daughter, The War On Drugs, Dirty Projectors, Cass McCombs), Autre Ne Veut, Myles Avery and mixing by Ben Baptie (Lapsley, Lianne La Havas, Lady Gaga, Mark Ronson).
Watch the summer ready video for “I Don’t Believe In Us,” and check them out on one of their many tour dates below that takes the gals well into February of next year with some supporting dates with Denver’s own, Tennis.
