Everybody’s favorite “Pizza Guy” returns with ’90s gold with a video worthy of VH1 from Touch Sensitive with his latest single, “Lay Down.” Visions of George Michael’s “Too Funky” come to mind immediately. The only thing missing from the Van She co-founder’s clip directed by Lost Art (The Avalanches, Love Deluxe, XL Recordings, Apple Music) is Cindy Crawford or Naomi Campbell walking seductively on a catwalk.
Lost Art excels with the decadent indulgence and hedonistic approach to a decade that over fantasized their models with lavish displays of luxury and obsession. And those fonts! The team did a splendid job with Touch Sensitive’s bust with extra close attention to the mustache detail and necklace.
“Lay Down” is the first single from the Aussie producer since 2013’s smash, “Pizza Guy.” Not so secret secret: “Pizza Guy” finds its way onto most of my Spotify playlists.
The last time we heard from Touch Sensitive was when the skilled artist lent his bass skills for Falqo’s “Someday” track featuring Wild & Free.
Touch Sensitive only has less than a handful releases, but damn if each one of those isn’t dancefloor ready.
