The Killers have effectively put the world on notice with their “the Man” video. Brandon Flowers masterfully nails the machismo stereotype perfectly in different scenarios on location for the native Las Vegas act. Scenes in which and limited to where Brandon is seen as being “the man”:

Working out in his trailer
Hanging with showgirls
Shooting empty cans
Elvis impersonator in a shimmery gold jacket
Wearing a tux at a black tie affair in a fancy ballroom
Grilling a good cut of meat on a charcoal grill
Cruising the strip in a vintage convertible with a cowboy hat
Working the VCR like a boss
Succesfully gambling at the casino
Rocking a leather stitched coat with “the Man”

Look for the follow up to 2012’s “Battle Born” to be released at some point this year with “Wonderful Wonderful.” Producer Jacknife Lee worked with the quartet between studios in Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
