South Broadway, consider yourself on notice. The annual summer music festival that wreaks havoc and debauchery, along with more music than you can handle released the first round of acts for the Underground Music Showcase.
Benjamin Booker is at the top of the list with what looks like his big breakout album out 06/02 via ATO titled “Witness.” Local girl gone big, Esmé Patterson, joins Booker and Red Fang as the big names of this year’s festival.
Things have expanded for the UMS with the main stage moving from the safe confines of the Goodwill to the now defunct parking lot of K-Mart on Alameda and Broadway. You can purchase your tickets now for 55 or wait at the door for 75. You know what to do. (h/t The Know)
