The proud sons of Austin are ready to make some noise.Britt Daniels and the boys from Spoon announced their new album, “Hot Thoughts,” on Merge Matador Records March 17. “Hot Thoughts” marks the first Spoon album in three years and the ninth overall as a band. Daniels has shown his range as of late; most recently with Dan Boeckner and Divine Fits. The album release coincides perfectly with SXSW and a residency at 6th Street landmark, Emo’s.
