2016 was a year of struggle for fans of hip-hop legends, A Tribe Called Quest. Integral member Phife Dawg succumbed to complications stemming from diabetes at the age of 45 leaving a cavernous void in the music community from a voice gone too sone. That left remaining members to answer the call and finish up the groundwork set forth to deliver their sixth album scheduled for release November 11 according to Q-Tip’s Facebook update. The news of a new album is the first in almost twenty years since the release of “The Love Movement.”
According to the FB post, Busta Rhymes and Consequence are among notables contributing to the new album.
