This last Friday night, the Ogden Theater was scorched to the earth with the fiery sounds of producers Kaytranada and Cashmere Cat. Cashmere Cat warmed up the stage with some original material, but beamed when he played his latest single with Selena Gomez and Torey Lanez, “Trust Nobody.” The Norwegian producer played before a forest setting dancing around the stage. Magnus August Høiberg wasn’t shy about laying down Kanye West tracks, with approximately four total, including floor burner, “Wolves.”

Many fans expected a live set from Haitian born Kaytranada, alas, we were served a deejay set. Despite the stigma behind deck only performances, the Polaris Prize winning artist kept a casual party vibe throughout the set that relied heavily on his full length, “99.9%.”
