This weekend marks the first Vertex Music Festival in the surreal setting of Buena Vista, Colorado. Just down the road from Denver on 285, the AEG/Madison House Presents are set to take off on the maiden voyage with Alabama Shakes and Gramatik headlining the first night. The site is said to be the same location as Mumford and Sons’ festival last year with the Gentlemen of the Road and organizers are anticipating 8,000 visitors with capacity up to 20,000.
