The first substantial video to surface related to the album, “Boys Don’t Cry (possible Cure shoutout),” Ocean distorts his voice in one of the most hedonistic videos since Kanye’s Taylor Swift kerfuffle. If the clip is indicative of what’s to come, Frank Ocean upped the game many notches with his approach to album delivery since Radiohead’s surprise release.The irony is that Frank is said to have collaborated with Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood. At this point, the music is almost secondary in nature with the concept art that Ocean is creating with his site that has people hooked around the clock.
