A new direction for one of the pioneers of Mexico music scene is afoot. Kinky, long known for contributing the go-to song in any narco-centric movie with “Mas” seems to have taken a departure from their previous sound. A collaboration with mixer Tony Hoffer (Beck, Depeche Mode, M83) has yielded a stellar offering with the chic sounding, “Desaparcer.” A video is lined up this week for the new single, but no new album news is available.
