The Country scene is experiencing a renaissance of sorts. The resurgence of artists that can write and sing is en vogue with artists like Jason Isbell and Sturgill Simpson at the forefront of the honky tonk scene. Chris Stapleton is another artist that is amongst those that can write and perform that has gained traction over the last several years that proves that not all of those artists that go to Nashville are more than one dimensional. Last night saw the bearded wonder perform “Words You Hate” on Jimmy Kimmel as a victory lap for his Grammy award winnings from Monday night. Look for a robust tour to hit the road with a two night stint in Denver. Awesome sauce!
