One of the last holdouts from music streaming supremacy is now available everywhere tonight. The Beatles’ full catalog appears on Spotify/Apple Music in a move that is sure to make fans of John, Paul, George and Ringo rejoice worldwide. But as the wife of Marsellus Wallace from the timeless classic “Pulp Fiction” Mia Wallace once said:
“My theory is that when it comes to important subjects, there are only two ways a person can answer. Which way they chose, tells you who that person is. For instance, there are only two kinds of people in the world, Beatles people and Elvis people. Now Beatles people can like Elvis and Elvis people can like the Beatles, but nobody likes them both equally. Somewhere you have to make a choice. And that choice, tells you who you are.”
That is true to an extent. However, when you get add the Rolling Stones’ fans into the mix, things become even more muddled. The Beatles are usually the first introduction to music that fans everywhere associate their first memories of melody to the sounds of “Help.”
For those that aren’t entirely sold on the Beatles, here are the least “Beatle-y” sounding Beatles tunes that further reinforce the creativity of the Fab Four.
