I’ve only done CMJ once, and was fascinated by how far apart many of the venues tend to be compared to SXSW. Very much like SXSW, a lot of the action happens during the day. Fader’s CMJ party is October 16-17 with RSVP here. Twenty acts are scheduled to appear and there’s always surprises when Fader is involved. Terrorbird’s day party shows the most promise with veteran act the Album Leaf playing cleanup hitter and Avan Lava highlighting the afternoon. Head over here for official times and updates.
