Friday Remixes

This was supposed to be the campaign season where all we were going to hear about was Jeb and Hillary. Instead, two unknown forces have come to the table to elbow with the seasoned politicians to take their piece of the pie with Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders. What’s more fascinating is how long the charade with Trump has gone on with the right leaning constituency. You have people screaming “white power” and others beating up hispanic homeless folk. The Donald chalks it up to “passion.” I’d prefer to call it ignorance.

Earlier this week, Univision’s golden boy, Jorge Ramos, broke protocol at a press conference. Ramos kept pressing the envelope and spoke out of turn. However, that doesn’t excuse the Trump’s comments about saying “go back to Univision.” Backhanded comments aside, Ramos was also told by a member in the DT circle to go back to his country. Ramos wanted an answer to immigration. Maybe he baited Trump, but the aspiring president should have handled that situation in a better fashion.

Donald Trump’s “five minutes” of political fame has expired and smells like three day old fish. What’s even more defeating is the legitimacy that he takes away from the other Republican candidates. Dr. Carlson **cough cough** comes to mind.
