It was bound to happen. Ryan Adams and Jenny Lewis shared the stage in each of their respective sets last night in Oklahoma. Adams produced Lewis’ latest album, “the Voyager,” and a no-brainer to tour together. Watch/listen to Ryan Adams share the stage with Jenny Lewis on two gorgeous takes on “Come Pick Me Up” and the tearjerker, “Oh My Sweet Caroline.” If we can only get them to do some of the Whiskeytown material, we’d be in business. But for now, we’ll take what we can get. The collaboration couldn’t have come at a better time, because it’s around this time of year that I take “Heartbreaker” out of hibernation and put it in the daily rotation.
