I was about 16 when I first listened to Underworld for the first time. Like much of America’s youth, we got our first taste from Underworld in the classic Danny Boyle heroin filled film, “Trainspotting.” The soundtrack broke ground in the states as a pathway to big beat tunes and oldies that made new fans of “trance.” Twenty years have passed since the release of the groundbreaking album, “dubnobassformyheadman,” from Underworld and fans can watch a comprehensive mini documentary below about the life and times of one of the most influential acts to release music. 2015 will see the legendary act tour the UK/Europe. Maybe with a little luck us Yankees will see them this coming summer.
