1MORNINGGLORY

2012 will be forever remembered as the year of the gun. Violence is escalating, tempers are flaring and not matter what side of the aisle you stand on, you have to agree something needs to be done. As a resident of Colorado, we have seen firsthand from Columbine to the Aurora movie shootings that our society is declining. Our moral compass is lost and we need to cling to our faith, love or whatever you put your stock in and hold your family/friends tight. Colorado also benefited from two of the biggest things to hit our area since John Elway. Mary Jane is legal in small amounts (1 oz or less) and Peyton Manning. Hurray for small victories. Kiss your loved ones and may 2013 bring all that 2012 failed to deliver.

  1. Let’s not forget “Seconds” by the Human League….even though it’s about the JFK shooter, it’s just as applicable to these cruel events.
Also Peter Gabriel’s haunting “Family Snapshot.”
