Cat Power is fulfilling the last of her television obligations promoting “Sun” before we don’t hear from her for another five years. I wasn’t able to watch Chan Marshall perform “Cherokee” knowing her health condition and financial situation detracted what should have been a celebrated national television performance. Instead, I winced for most of the performance and hope that Ms. Marshall gets better in all facets of her life.
