John Talabot brought the first of two Colorado shows Tuesday night with a beat parade that filled a smoke filled Larimer Lounge. “Fin” is the name of Talabot’s latest album that puts other intelligent electronic music on a different level. The Spaniard concocted mind melting beats in complete darkness only adding to the artist’s obscurity. The only light in the joint belonged to that of the EXIT sign out back. The blackout dance party only further reinforced “Fin” position as one of top 5 albums of 2012 without even thinking twice. Do whatever you guys can to score tickets for the xx show in Boulder that will see Talabot holding down opening duties.
