Kickin’ Television ::: Santigold on Colbert and Beth Orton on Letterman
Beth Orton is early on supporting her new album. Rolling Stone barely premiered her latest single, “Magpie,” off of the forthcoming album, “Sugaring Season,” scheduled to be released via Anti October 2. Orton appeared solo on the Letterman stage last night giving us a small sample of what’s to come and I’ve always been a firm believer that Orton’s music has always been a perfect accompaniment to the cold weather that winter brings.
Santigold lit up the USS Colbert pushing her 2012 smash album, “Disparate Youth,” with the hyped single, “Go.” Last night’s performance could’ve done without the go go dancers due to the hot fiya Santigold was spitting on stage from left to right.
