Iggy Pop + Best Coast = “Let’s Boot and Rally”
“TRUE BLOOD” spoiler alert!Season 5 of “True Blood” has been a slow build-up of Bill and Eric joining forces to kill the ex-King of Mississippi and Tara’s adjustment to life as a vampire. I thought we were going to get lucky last season when Tara took one in the chest for Suki Stackhouse (I always have to say her full name like Bill says it in his Southern Drawl), however no such luck because Pam “turned” Bon Temp’s resident hater.
Back to the music, Iggy Pop and Bethany Cosentino have collaborated to contribute to Season 5 with their episode ending vampire inspired, “Let’s Boot and Rally.” You can listen to the legend and California star harmonize on via KCRW and if you had to break the track down, it goes 75% Iggy and 25% Bethany.
