One of the items on my bucket-list before I die is to make it out to Barcelona for Primavera Sound. The city sculpted by Gaudi by the sea is amazing and breathes romanticism on every corner, especially the ones with Lichtenstein piece adorning them. Check out a longer video from the Cure playing the vast majority of their PS set spanning most of their major hits.
The Roots continue to display why they’re one of the best live bands going and hardest working by playing the JazzReggae Fest over at UCLA performing a jazzy melodic rendition of the Beastie Boys’ classic, “Paul Revere.”
Lastly, Jay-Z and Kanye West performed their club/universal hit, “Ni**as in Paris,” in Paris. Shocker. I know. However, the night included a Phish type dedication to the megahit that rivals the one time I got a 32 minute version of “Carini.”
