Silver Jews “Secret Knowledge of Backroads”
Silver Jews is back, well, sort of… 9 out of 10 times, fans of Pavement are fans of David Berman’s Silver Jews. Drag City has compiled some early recordings of Berman, Stephen Malkmus and Bob Nastanovich . Listener beware, the audio is pretty shoddy at best, but the tune shines brilliantly nonetheless. Look for “Early Times” to hit the shelves June 19.
