I went to the first Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco four years ago. A couple of things I remember from the weekend was the freezing wing, rain and beautiful scenery. Jack White solo is landing headliner status. He doesn’t need anymore guises to hide himself behind. Neil Young in this setting wouldn’t be anything short of amazing. He’s one of my bucket-list artists I’ve yet to see. It all goes down August 10-12 with the festival functioning as a homecoming show of sorts for the “some kind of monsters,” Metallica.
