I plowed through “the Hunger Games” trilogy in the span of a couple of weeks. The series was the equivalent of literary crack and found myself reading under the covers late at night with a flashlight to not keep up my wife. She finished the trilogy in under four days. The soundtrack is going to be a pretty big deal, considering T-Bone Burnett has produced the compilation with the group of artists ranging from Arcade Fire to the Decemberists. Head over to EW to listen to the ominous contribution, “Abraham’s Daughter,” from the Arcade Fire. In somewhat related news, maybe Arcade Fire will be quitting their day jobs and becoming professors at UT? Look for the soundtrack to hit shelves March 20 and the movie to hit your cineplex March 23.
