Cedric Bixler-Zavala in a new band + Mars Volta & At the Drive-In news

When Cedric Bixler-Zavala from the Mars Volta and At the Drive-In says he’s back, the high pitched vocalist comes back with a vengeance.First, the supergroup news. Cedric, alongside Christian Eric Beaulieu (Triclops!, Liquid Indian), have created Anywhere. The supergroup will include Rachel Fannan (ex-Sleepy Sun) and contributions from Mike Watt (The Stooges, fIREHOSE, Minutemen). Listen to their first single below, “Anywhere,” that will be apart of Record Store Day 2012. Speaking of RSD 2012, At the Drive-In will be releasing their classic EP, “Vaya,” but only be sold at Coachella. Bummer, right? Don’t fret, because in June the EP will be sold at stores or on the interwebs. Lastly, you can stream the Mars Volta’s forthcoming album, “Noctourniquet” to be released March 27 over at Rolling Stone.
