Nada Surf played their album release party last at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom. “The Stars Are Indifferent To Astronomy” was released yesterday (stream it here) and if you haven’t had a chance to listen, the album feels like their most personal affair to date. Last night’s show captures the staying power from a band that had been all but written off in the mid 90’s with a song that could have landed the quartet on one of those compilation albums of one hit wonders.
