CULTS ::: Larimer Lounge ::: 08.01.01

Lots of good music hit your television screen since Friday night in case you missed out while hitting the sauce hard over the weekend.  Cults made their victory lap on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (video via the Audio Perv). Los Campesinos will be making their way to Denver at the end of the month with a gig at the Bluebird Theater, but played Letterman Friday night. Joanna Newsom took to Austin City Limits with her harp and angelic voice for a night in the Sherwood Forrest with a split episode with the princes of the pacific northwest, Fleet Foxes.

In what perhaps was a slight oversight by the Coachella planning committee, 2 Live Crew has announced that the old University of Miami fans will be making a comeback. Luther Campbell announced the great news from Sundance from the premiere of his film, “the Life and Times of Uncle Luke.” Look for 2LC to be making people “So Horny” around the country this summer.

  1. Totally love the Cults performance, they had such a great 2011! I think Chairlift is gonna be really big in dream-pop for 2012, love their new album, especially “Sidewalk Safari” !!
