Hot Chip + LCD Soundsystem = New Build
Hot Chip always felt like an extension of LCD Soundsystem. New Build is a branch on that same tree and I guess those DFA guys really like to keep it in the family. Al Doyle (Hot Chip/LCD Soundsystem), Tom Hopkins and Felix Martin (Hot Chip) have joined forced to create New Build. They’ve put together the “Misery Loves Comapny” 12″ to be released November 28 via Lanark Recordings that has been limited to 500 copies which you can buy here. Look out for a proper show at the end of this month in London.
