Empire of the Sun came to Red Rocks last week as the Thursday night headliner of the Global Dance Festival (read my review over at REVERB) and the gorgeous night catapulted their show as one of my favorites in recent memory. Ever. I haven’t jumped around screaming lyrics like that since maybe the Pavement Show last year. According to EOTS’s FB page, it appears that they’re on to something big. Like second album big. Maybe I’m jumping the gun, but it sounds pretty heavy. Check out their video of “Half Mast” at Red Rocks from their Global Dance Fest performance.
