Erasure played a pivotal role in my listening habits as a kid. Mainly because my older sister had that “Pop” best of compilation that I ransacked and took as my own. Their highly influential music can be heard in many contemporary artists present day and are one of the true pioneers of early 80’s glittery pop synth music. “Tomorrow’s World” will see the light of day Fall 2011 along with a supporting tour that will come Stateside in August 2011. The new album was produced by Frankmusic of Lady Gaga fame. The tag team duo of Vince Clarke and Andy Bell wrote all of the songs that will have an 80’s and present aesthetic spin on the end result.
