I love Seal, he always reminds me of being with my dad and going on road trips. I stand by the idea that there are a lot of great songwriters whose music was hopelessly dated and regrettably packaged for the commercial music machine, but are nonetheless worth revisiting with new perspectives. This is a great example!Now someone needs to bring some more Phil Collins and Oasis covers with Americana and Indie twists.
It’s funny you mention Phil Collins. Unironically, I have a major penchant for Genesis (Phil Collins years).
