Woodsman played the first of two nights in support of their new album, “Rare Forms.” The psych-rockers kept the stage hot for Tennis with their dueling drummers and extended jams. The percussion heavy set crushed the small Hi-Dive stage. The reverb drenched guitars meshed well with the loop manipulation  and regret not being able to attend their headlining album release party. No official word as to what SX shows they’ll be doing this year, but for those going to Austin should definitely catch them.
