Mogwai ::: Bluebird Theater ::: 05.12.09

Can somebody tell me if Mogwai‘s new album is the first one they’ve done with vocals?You can listen to their forthcoming album (release date Feb 15th via Sub Pop), “Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will,” over at Rolling Stone in it’s entirety. Their new video from the album is “Mexican Grand Prix” (you can watch over at NME)and they’ll be hitting the road in support of the pending release. The new album feels more expansive than prior works and different than anything they’ve done up until this point.

  1. Almost all their albums have a couple of songs with vocals. Usually with vocoder or effects. My personal favorite is Acid Food.
