Pigeonholing groups/acts nowadays “chillwave” is a slippery slope.What happens when there’s less “hiss” and “echo” and more “melody” and “pop” with more emphasis on songwriting? Work Drugs is a duo from Philly PA (not sure if it derives from Kenny Powers) with only one track under their belts (that we know of) and their one track nails it with a hazy infectious beat. “Third Wave” is the name of their first single that you can watch/listen to below and we can look for a full length from the duo next year.
