Like Lazarus, the Brothers Meese have risen from the ashes to create new group, the Centennial. The Centennial welcomes Patrick Meese’s wife, Tiffany, to round out the trio. The male/female harmonies aesthetic brings a welcomed change to a different direction being carved out by the new outfit. The lead single “1988” (see below) is gorgeously wispy with a soft melody that has me anxiously awaiting to listen to the rest of the EP or possible full length headed our way. The Centennial is slated to have their EP release, “Second Spring”, tonight at the Hi-Dive. Along with the party, they will also be giving away happy attendees the EP away for FREE. If you aren’t able to attend, the EP will be available for purchase over here.
