The Chicagoans known as California Wives are aimed at winning hearts and young love with their debut EP, “Affair”. The late John Hughes would’ve found room for them on the “Pretty in Pink” OST between the Psychedelic Furs and Echo & the Bunnymen. After several spins of their five track EP, I became instantly smitten with their promise and what future efforts hold. According to their blog, the guys are hard at work on new material and will be hitting Daytrotter next month!
