To say that I’m very excited about tonight would be an understatement. I didn’t become a Pavement fan until they called it quits around 1999. I had read an interview w/Trey Anastasio from Phish and he said that Pavement was a huge inspiration. Of course, Pavement had already split, so I became a Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks fan, which was my next logical choice. The news of a reunion I would read for the next couple of years on Coachella Forums would tease me for several years. Finally! To celebrate tonight’s wonderful event, I found a show from this year’s tour. See you tonight?!
