Perhaps I’m going a bit overboard when I say this, but Vincent Moon and Nathanaël Le Scouarnec are possibly some of the best film makers at capturing live music on film. Phew. I feel better now. That’s a lot to get off my chest. No disrespect to Scorsese, but the guy knows how to capture certain moments on film that grasp the feeling and energy that most would be unable to cover. Mogwai’s live show shot in Brooklyn makes it’s way to Denver Thursday night (Sept 23rd) at the Bluebird Theatre and I have two tickets to giveaway.
