The Fillmore Auditorium was the place for Wednesday night’s potential seizure inducing light show and ear blowing beats by the Chemical Brothers. Despite the lack of turnout, the Brothers Chemical worked it out and laid plenty of “block-rockin beats” to the über fans in attendance. I was reminded by somebody that it wasn’t the 90’s (Crystal Method will be at Beta this Saturday), and the aging ravers in attendance couldn’t care less. The LED light show in collaboration with the hypnotic set made for a night of great late big beat nostalgia. First time I listened to Chemical Brothers was via Mtv’s big beat heavy compilation, “AMP“. Ahhh….the good ol’ days…..

I am Ken Jordan’s (from The Crystal Method) fiance -we were at this show! 😉 You’re right! Super fun, and us aging ravers could care less what year we’re in.
It was a great night. I was thinking the place was going to be crazy packed, but in the end they only filled up half the joint. Better for us…
