What a perfect night for music under the stars and in a natural amphitheater. There wasn’t a slight breeze, but the fervent guitar playing from Mexico’s Rodrigo y Gabriela more than made up for that slight detail. The duo played to a near capacity audience at Red Rocks Friday night.  Zack de la Rocha from Rage Against the Machine was added to Friday night’s bill as a last minute addition. From what I heard, they had all met in Los Angeles recently and decided to move forward with a scheduled appearance. Zack de la Rocha hit the stage to speak about immigration reform and the possibility of the same type of bill that passed in Arizona to make it’s way to Colorado. Oh yeah, in the process, they played “Bombtrack”. No big deal.
