Green Label Sound’s ,Chromeo, barged through Denver last Friday for a balls out dance party and C=T correspondent, Renzo Sandoval came away with some ants in his pants.

Chromeo – Don’t Turn The Lights On (Christian Martin Remix) [mp3]

The night was known as “Business Casual”, and no we aren’t talking about the dress code attire; Chromeo headlined a show that Denver residents will remember for months. Last night at the Ogden Theater, P-Thugg and Dave-1 played to a sold out crowd showing what the Electro-Funk duo from Montreal truly has to offer to their many fans. From a great opening by Holy Ghost! to the final song by Chromeo, the atmosphere was filled with hot synthesizers sounds and a crowd that left with nothing less than a “wow” knowing they got a great performance by one of the scene’s trail blazing acts. It was truly a night and show worth digging into the wallets, or purses, and scalping some tickets being sold at double face value outside the Ogden’s doors. The material from the new album was spackled  throughout the night to a crowd screaming feverishly with hands raised as the trademark keyboard stand in the shape of a nice pair of female legs played.
Chromeo will be traveling across North America before heading to Europe to continue promoting their “Business Casual” album set to release in Sept.2010, which you can buy here.
