Let’s be thankful that they didn’t name the new sequel like “Tokyo Drift”. What gets me everytime is the face on Michael Douglas as he’s released from prison to see that the limo that’s awaiting somebody outside isn’t for him… What you CAN count on is witty dialogue from Oliver Stone. “Scarface” wouldn’t have been as amusing had Oliver Stone not written the movie. Same w/the first “Wall Street”. He soundtracked the movie using some of Eno’s and Byrne’s last album, “Everything That Happens Will Happen Today” to backdrop the NYC skyline. I’m predicting a lot of snippy banter between Shia and Michael Douglas. In other David Byrne news, he will be doing a (shocker) collabo w/St. Vincent on a composition for Bang on a Can’s Asphalt Orchestra to be debuted at Lincoln Center on August 4th. They will add vocals to this at a later date, so look for that on the horizon.
