I don’t have to tell you it’s First Friday today. But in the oft-chance that you may have forgotten, there’s a ton of Free stuff to get yourself into. The Santa Fe Art Walk that starts at Boxcar Gallery (on Santa Fe between 5th and 6th) will be hosting new works from a good friend and mixed media artist, Sarah Quinlan. To get the festivities started over at the Biennial of the Americas, check out the performance series downtown.

Jamie Drouin “WHITEOUT”, Overcast Sound + Moleculagem, SWEATSHOPPE
First Friday is a contrasting showcase, beginning with a visceral surround sound performance, moving into a deep and dubby audiovisual collaboration, and closing with a playful and active vj/dj duo. The three performances all work with immersive performance yet are juxtapositions in this context. Destined to be a powerhouse opening.
