the Big Pink & Crystal Antlers ::: Larimer Lounge ::: 11.23.09
Monday night at the Larimer Lounge with the Big Pink and Crystal Antlers didn’t feel like a Monday night. It was one of those out of body experiences that happen once, maybe twice a year. Somebody forgot to tell them that the Larimer Lounge has a capacity of maybe 150 people, and their performance/stage settings was for a large auditorium of 4,000. The breathe stealing smoke machines, epileptic causing flash stage lighting, and ear splitting audio left me aghast with delight.
