Elvis Costello & the Roots on Jimmy Fallon
One of the best things about Late Night with Jimmy Fallon is his house band. Never in a million years would I have thought the Roots would have taken him up on his offer to be his house band. Sure it’s a guaranteed check, but for a band that is known as being road warriors, it was a bit of a stretch. The mashup of nightly musical guests that collide with the Roots has been a proven winner and the show continues to excel with Elvis Costello and the Roots performing “(I Don’t Want To Go To) Chelsea)”.
