Great Lake Swimmers & the Wooden Birds ::: Larimer Lounge ::: 10.21.09
I had read somewhere that The Wooden Birds are kin to American Analog Set. I had forgotten that tidbit of information when I took their show in last week and was immediately struck by the similarities between the two bands. The Wooden Birds are ballsier and have a feminine quality that make them more likable live. I contributed some photos to the Denver Post‘s Reverb concert blog that you can check out here.
