There’s something to be said about last goodbyes. I always said that I wouldn’t go to anybody’s funeral. In my heart , I always wanted to remember said person by the loving memories, than by the last glance in a casket. That final moment is a memory that stays etched in your mind whenever something reminds of you of “it”. They always say that the good one’s leave us too soon. They live hard and shine bright, but they leave too soon. The band has put together their last will and testament and a final gift. You know, like in the movies, where after several days, months, years, go by and come across a letter from your loved one that says something to the effect of: “If you’re reading this, it’s because I’m dead etc….”. EAOD has done this, but they were gracious enough to do it before they bid us adieu. Thank you for all of the great music all of these years and you will be greatly missed. The only thing I take comfort in is that we will see you guys in another outfit. I’m sure of this. This is what they leave behind….

These are some of the skeletons in our closet, which is in a dirty room of a filthy house on an industrial street where we recorded and played beautifully together for longer than we ever thought we would. Come see us clean house for the last time on October 24th at the Bluebird Theater with our dear friends The Knew and Jim McTurnan and the Kids that Killed the Man.
We will be mourning nothing and celebrating everything, not the least of which is our latest and last record The Lucky One, a four-song EP recorded by Xandy Whitesal and mastered by Colin Bricker at Notably Fine Audio. Please let us know if you’d like to post a song for download on your website. We will give away hard copies of the disc at the show and give it away digitally after that.
We hope to see you at this blessed event—please come dressed in your best Sunday whites.
xoxo
