24 Hour Party People (the real version)
I don’t hide my affinity for 80′s band, New Order. I have loved them ever since one of my best friend’s sister put True Faith on a mixtape and I’ve been Hook’d since. A somewhat fictitious account of how the late Tony Wilson went from TV personality, to music empresario was retold by a funny Steve Coogan in, 24 Hour Party People. A friend with a shared love for New Order sent this BBC special on Tony WIlson; that is by far the most comprehensive look on the rise/fall of Factory Records and the life of Tony Wilson.
